Welcome to Sportoriety. By accessing or using our website, services, or applications (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use Sportoriety.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sportoriety. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
3. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit, but by posting, you grant Sportoriety a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
You are solely responsible for your content, and you agree not to submit:
- False, misleading, or defamatory statements
- Content that infringes any third-party rights
- Spam, promotions, or advertisements unrelated to the Platform
Sportoriety reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
4. No Endorsement or Verification
Reviews and ratings reflect the opinions of users, not Sportoriety. We do not verify the accuracy of reviews or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or performance of any tournaments, leagues, venues, or individuals mentioned.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Attempt to interfere with the operation of the Platform or access accounts without authorization
6. Intellectual Property
All Sportoriety trademarks, logos, and proprietary content (other than user-generated content) are owned by Sportoriety and may not be used without our written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sportoriety and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Platform.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sportoriety from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our site. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
